FIFA U-17 World Cup: Two quarterfinals matches underway

In the FIFA – Under-17 World Cup Football, two quarterfinals matches are being played today. While the match between Ghana and Mali is underway in Guwahati, England will play USA in Fatorda near Madgaon, Goa. at 8 p.m. In the match at Guwahati, Mali was leading Ghana 1-nil when reports last came in. The goal was scored by Hadji Drame for Mali. It was his third goal in the competition. Ghana are struggling with the playing conditions as it has been raining heavily in Guwahati, but officials decided that the ground was suitable for play today. The other quarterfinal match will take place between England and USA. The match will start at 8 PM. USA reached the last eight after blanking Paraguay 5-0 in New Delhi, while England beat Japan in a penalty shootout in Kolkata in the Round of 16.This is the first time the teams are facing off at the Under-17 world cup.
