Germany have entered the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup. In the first match of Round of Sixteen at the Jawharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi today, they outplayed South American team Colombia 4-nil. At half-time, the winners led Two-nil. Captain and star striker Jann-Fiete Arp netted twice for the winners in the 7th and 65th minutes. The other two goals came through Yann Bisseck in 39th minute and John Yeboah in 49th minute.In today's other pre-quarterfinal now under way in New Delhi, the United States were leading Paraguay 1-nil at half-time through the goal scored by Weah in the 19th minute.Tomorrow, four pre-quarterfinal encounters will be played at different venues.
