In the FIFA Under-17 World football championship, defending champions Mexico have stormed into the final. In a fast paced match at Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, Mexico blanked Argentina 3-0. Ivan Ochoa scored twice for the winners in 5th and 21st minute of the match while Marco Granados made it 3-0 in 86 th minute of the game. The defending champions will now take on Nigeria in the final on Friday in Abu Dhabi. Nigeria defeated Sweden 3-0 in another exciting encounter in Dubai. The Nigerian strikers made repeated foray at the Swedish goal and hammered past the goalkeeper in 21st, 80th and 81st minute of the game. Mexico has been consistent throughout the tournament barring their defeat in the opening match. Nigeria was the team which routed the defending champions in their opening encounter 6-1.On its way to the final, Mexico has beaten strong teams like Brazil and Argentina. On the other hand, Nigeria has been a match winner throughout the tournament backed by huge support from its fans in UAE. Nigeria has overcome the challenge of teams like Uruguay and Sweden on its way to the final. Despite a psychological advantage for Nigeria an exciting final is on the cards for the soccer fans at the FIFA Under -17 World football championship on Friday in Abu Dhabi.
