15th edition of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup Football Championship gets underway in Abu Dhabi today. In the opening match, Brazil will take on Slovakia at the Mohammed Bin Zayed stadium. Hosts UAE will face Honduras in their opening game. 24 qualifying teams are in the fray for the top spot. During the three week long tournament, 52 matches will be played in six cities- Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Kheimah, Al Ain and Fujairah. The FIFA Under 17 world cup in its previous editions has led to soccer stars such as Juan Sebastian Veron, Anderson, Cesc Fabregas, Ronaldinho, Neymar, Toni Kroos and Landon Donovan to name a few. An official Fifa Fan Zone has been set up at the Abu Dhabi Corniche to give soccer fans a free front-seat view of the world's finest young players in action. A big screen will show tournament matches and there will be football contests and prizes up for grabs.<br/>
