FIFA' 10: FIFA World Cup: Paraguay beat Slovakia 2-0

In World Cup Football, Paraguay have kept alive their chances of entering the Round of Sixteen. In their second Group F match at Bloemfontein today, they recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory over Slovakia. Holding a complete control over the game from the very beginning, the South Americans led One-Nil at half-time through midfielder Enrique Vera's goal in the 27th minute. Their second goal was netted by Christian Riveros in the 86th minute.Paraguay now have four points. In their opening game, they earned a one-one draw against defending champions Italy. Slovakia have only one point from two games. They picked up the point when they were held 1-1 by New Zealand in their first fixture. Paraguay will be meeting New Zealand in Polokwane in their third and final Group match. They will be starting as firm favourites. Paraguay came into the tournament in great shape after beating Brazil and Argentina in the qzualifying matches. The current Paraguayan is being rated as their best-ever side.
