A fierce gun battle is continuing between the naxals and the police in Jojobera forest area under Arki police station in Khunti district of Jharkhand. A jawan of Jaguar force Motilal Meena has been injured in the encounter and he has been shifted to the Ranchi for treatment. Police has recovered many IED explosive in the encounter, but the damage to the naxal side is not yet known. Six teams of police and security forces from CRPF, Jharkhand Armed Police and district police have surrounded the naxals since morning today. The operation, being conducted jointly by the Ranchi and Khunti districts police, is being led by the SP Operation inwhich two companies of Jaguar are also taking part.
