Top Indian Grandmaster Koneru Humpy put an end to her dry spell after defeating Russia's Tatiana Kosintseva in the seventh round of the FIDE Women's Chess Grand Prix in Sharjah. <br/><br/>Playing with white pieces, she registered the victory after 60 moves yesterday. <br/><br/>Four more rounds are left in the tournament and Humpy has been able to manage 3 points so far. She plays against Anna Ushenina in the eighth round today.<br/><br/>The other Indian Grandmaster, Harika Dronavalli's match against Anna Ushenina ended in a draw. <br/><br/>Harika has 4 points from seven games now and she is now placed third in the points table. She takes on the challenge of Zhu Chen of China in the eighth round today.<br/><br/>China's Ju Wenjun and the World Champion Hou Yifan have now moved to the top of the table with six points each after winning their respective games in the seventh round.<br/><br/>Ju Wenjun beat Nafisa Muninova while Hou Yifan's defeated Zhu Chen. Winner of the series will challenge the World Champion next year.
