Industrial body FICCI has welcomed the passing of Goods and Services Tax bill in the Lok Sabha today. In a press statement FICCI President Harshavardhan Neotia said, the approval of the Constitutional Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha today marks crossing of another milestone in the journey towards introduction of a Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime in the country.Mr Neotia said, implementation of GST will be a big incentive for bringing new investments into India and will eventually foster the growth of the Indian economy.
