FICCI today welcomed the economic survey, which indicates towards Public Private Partnership in the agriculture and infrastructure sectors. Talking to the press in New Delhi, FICCI general secretary Dr. Amit Mitra said that economic survey recognizes that the agriculture grew by only 0.2 percent this year while this should have grown at least 4 per cent per annum. He emphasized that private investment should be encouraged in the agriculture sector and expressed hope that industry may see the glimmer of this in the coming budget.
