Industry body FICCI welcomed the decisions taken by the Government related to agriculture and skill development sectors in the country. The National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship acknowledges the need for an effective road map for promotion of entrepreneurship as the key to a successful skills strategy. FICCI Skills Development Forum Chairman, R C M Reddy, said that the focus on entrepreneurship and women empowerment is appropriate and much needed. Reddy said that it will help hugely in encouraging an inclusive skills ecosystem.
