The 14th edition of FICCI Frames will be held from 12th to 14th March in Mumbai. Speaking to reporters on Monday, the event Chairman Uday Shankar said this year's theme will be 'A tryst with destiny: Engaging a billion consumers'. Also present on the occasion, Deputy Chairman of FICCI Frames, film maker Karan Johar, said that 2013 will be a milestone year for the media and entertainment industry and Frames will offer an opportunity to put these developments in perspective. He added that the media and entertainment sector have enormous potential for making considerable contribution not only to GDP, but also as a harbinger of social change. Karan Johar also announced that international thought-leaders like Andy Bird and Anne Sweeney from Walt Disney International, Teri Schwartz, noted filmmaker Mira Nair and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tiwari are expected to address FICCI Frames this year.
