Festival of Commonwealth writers held in New Delhi. Prominent writers from atleast 17 countries of the Grouping are participating in the various activities. In the Old Delhi ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh cast a spell with the magic of his voice with hundreds of people young and old listening to his soul searching GhazalsIn the West Delhi people are mesmerized by an awesome laser show and an Afgani band playing Bollywood music.This is not all, readings by Writers and Poets, a three day seminar starting from Friday on the historical legacy and writing in the Commonwealth and a Book Exhibition have been organised to coinside with the Games. Its not just the visitors from abroad but the Delhites are enjoing every bit of not just the thrill of games but the feast of sounds, lights, colours and theatre.
