The President of Commonwealth games Federation Mike Fennell will lead the delegates on tours of the various games venues and village on Thursday. Mr. Fennell who arrived on Wednesday also met Sports Minister Mr. M.S Gill and discussed the work progress for the event. Meanwhile Delhi Police have already issued traffic advisory saying some key roads will be blocked for smooth passage of delegates. This was Fennel's first visit to India after he wrote a letter in September, criticising Suresh Kalamadi led organising committee saying that preparations for games were behind schedule and could be partial failure. He had also urged the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to intervene the matter to expedite the progress of games. During his 5 day visit, Mr. Fennel is expected to meet Dr Singh to discuss a recovery plan. The Delhi government and the organising committee is leaving no stone unturned to satisfy the delegates on the ongoing projects ahead of the games.
