Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani has observed that the unemployment rate as of today in the country is at an all-time low of 3.2 per cent. Addressing a function in Kochi today, she said  female labour force participation rate has gone up to 37 per cent, while male labour force participation rate stood at 78 per cent. <br />''<br />''Noting that  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the template of growth for the country,  which is multi-faceted, inclusive, ambitious and that which defined and redefined the global order, the Minister said the effort of the government is to ensure that the fruits of governance reached every segment of the society. Referring to opposition parties joining hands against the BJP, she said  political forces have come together not with the purpose of building a nation, but with the sole agenda of defeating Prime Minister  Modi. <br />
