Foreign Exchange Earnings, FEEs, from tourism increased by more than nine percent in May this year. FEEs during the month were 6,089 crore rupees as against 5,562 crore rupees in May 2012.A Tourism Ministry release said Foreign Tourist Arrivals, FTAs, also went up by more than 3.2 percent during the month. FTAs during May this year were 3.84 lakh as compared to 3.72 lakh during May last year.
