<span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, fear of flood is looming large over many villages close to major rivers in the state. Many rivers are flowing close to danger mark because of the water coming from neighbouring Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan which have received heavy rainfall in recent days. In Bundelkhand region, water released from various dams has flooded many villages. <br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that in Lalitpur district gates of Govind Sagar Dam were opened to release water. Around two lakh cusecs water was released from the dam and administration is on high as water has flooded many city areas. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">After the release of five lakh cusecs water from Matatila dam, Betwa River is flowing close to danger mark flooding low-lying areas in Jalaun, Hamirpur and Jhansi districts. Bundelkhand region is most-affected where almost all rivers in the region including Yamuna, Kane, Betwa are in spate causing widespread damage and submerging paddy fields in low-lying areas. In Hamirpur district, 64 villages are flood-affected. Yamuna, Ganga and Chambal rivers are flowing close to danger mark and administration is keeping extra vigil in areas close to these rivers.</span><br />'' <br />''
