FDI policy now more investor friendly: MoS Finance

The government has further liberalized and rationalized the Foreign Direct Investment Policy to make it more investor-friendly. This information was given by Minister of State for Finance, Namo Narain Meena in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He said the government has also set up Invest India, a joint venture company between the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and FICCI, as the single window facilitator to attract prospective overseas investors. Mr Meena said the government motivates prospective foreign investors by giving them all necessary incentives.
