Proceedings in both Houses of Parliament were again disrupted on Friday on the issue of allowing 51 per cent foreign direct investment (FDI) in the multi-brand retail sector.
The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, which were first adjourned for one hour, were finally adjourned to meet again on the 7th of this month.
Other issues like price rise, black money and the demand for a separate Telangana state rocked Parliament last week for four days.
The sittings on Monday have been cancelled. Instead, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha will sit on the 22nd of this month, but will have no question hour.
