The country registered a 53 per cent increase in foreign direct investment in the last two years. This follows the government's economic policies which focuses on growth, price stability and fiscal prudence. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said this while replying to questions in the Lok Sabha today. He underlined that investments are not made for charity. There has to be a credible work culture ensuring an ease of doing business and proper dividend.
