Union Minister Farooq Abdullah today said he has nothing against Narendra Modi as a person but is apprehensive about his agenda with regard to Jammu and Kashmir and Muslims. Speaking at a rally at Kangan in Ganderbal district of Kashmir, Abdullah said abrogation of Article 370 would never be acceptable to people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said the other issue on Modi's agenda is BJP's wish to implement uniform civil code which is a cause of concern.
Rebutting Modi's charge, Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said the exodus of Pandits from Kashmir took place under Jagmohan, who was appointed governor by the BJP supported government. He said majority of Kashmiri Muslims are pained at the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and want them to come back. Omar said Modi has insulted the people of Kashmir by his statement.
