Union Minister and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has said that his party will never allow Article 370 to be abolished.

He was addressing a gathering of his party workers and followers at Sheikh Abdullah’s mausoleum after filing his papers for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, which will go to polls on the 30th of this month.

Abdullah said, neither the BJP nor Narendra Modi could ever dare to undermine Article 370 as it was the bondage between the State and the Centre. He said that the National Conference, the Congress and some other national parties are united and will not let anyone to play with the issue.

BJP, while releasing it's manifesto yesterday, said it is committed to repeal article 370 which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
