A large group of farmers representing different rural communities, especially tribal, landless and small farmers have reached Agra district in Uttar Pradesh after travelling through Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.A spokesperson of Jansatyagrah told our Allahabad correspondent that a five member delegation of the marchers headed by former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh will have discussion with the government at New Delhi for amicable solution of demands of the farmers. He said two rounds of discussion already held with the Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh.They had started their march from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh on October 3 under the banner of Rashtriya Ekta Parishad, a non-violent social movement working on land and forest rights.
