In Uttar Pradesh agitated farmers over land acquisition in Chandauli district have decided to intensify their agitation as their talks with district administration at Mughalsarai has failed. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that farmers of Katesar and Kodopur villages are on dharna since 24th of this month against land acquisition by Varanasi Development Authority. More than 1500 farmers are affected by the acquisition.
