Farm credit is likely to reach 4 lakh crore rupees this fiscal against the government's target of 3.75 lakh crore rupees. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar today said the credit disbursement in 2009-10 fiscal was nearly 3.84 lakh crore rupees against the target of 3.25 lakh crore rupees.Mr Pawar said flow of agriculture credit in 2010-11 is likely to reach 4 lakh crore rupees from the level of 86,981 crore rupees in 2003-04.AIR correspondent reports, as part of farmer-friendly policy, the government has taken several measures to improve agriculture credit flow in order to boost investment in the farm sector.
