<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Agriculture Minister B C Patil has welcomed the farm bills passed by Parliament. <br />''<br />''Addressing media persons in Bengaluru today, the minister said that the Farm bills passed yesterday will eliminate middlemen and enable buyers to approach the farmers at their door steps. <br />''<br />''He however added that this will not stop the activities at APMC. He said the opposition to the bill stems from political prejudice . The objective, he added, is to improve the income of farmers by providing more options to the farmers to sell their produce. The farmers can now take up improvement in their agriculture practices by tying up with the corporate sector.</span><br />
