A Congress delegation led by Vice President Rahul Gandhi today met President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi over the Faridkot firing case. Mr Gandhi demanded a time bound probe into the death of two persons allegedly killed in police firing at Behbal Kalan area in Faridkot district in Punjab last month. Later, talking to media, Mr Gandhi said affected families wanted him to talk to the President as they felt Punjab Government will not give them justice. Police had allegedly opened fire on the people who were protesting against the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Bargari village.
