In Uttar Pradesh, district administration of Faizabad has decided to relax the curfew from 10.00 in the morning to 4.00 in the afternoon today. This was announced in a press meet by District Magistrate of Faizabad on Monday. Talking to media the District Magistrate told that school colleges of the troubled areas will remain closed till Wednesday. Meanwhile SSP Faizabad told media persons that 25 FIRs have been lodged and 54 persons arrested so far on the charges of arson and disturbing the communal harmony along with various other charges. Violence had erupted in the city of Faizabad on Thursday on the eve of Durga idols immersion procession, after which curfew was imposed in two police areas of the Bhadarsa town of the district.
