A hacker took over French president Nicolas Sarkozy's Facebook account and posted a fake announcement that he was abandoning plans to run for re-election. The fake announcement was posted last evening on the president's official page on the social networking site. Mr. Sarkozy said, his Facebook account was hacked perhaps to remind him that no system is infallible. He has not yet officially said that he will run for re-election in the May 2012 polls.
