The extreme cold wave conditions continue to prevail in various parts of Nepal. <br/><br/>Tarai, the southern part of the country is worst affected by severe cold wave and dense fog. <br/><br/>The extreme cold weather has claimed two more lives. One person died in Saptari district and another in Rautahat district due to biting cold. <br/><br/>In last one week, at least 15 people have lost their lives in intense cold weather conditions in different parts of Tarai region. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has expressed grief over deaths of people due to extreme cold. <br/><br/>She has drawn the attention of Government towards the situation and urged to take appropriate steps to tackle it. <br/><br/>President Bhandari has also requested NGOs, civil society, private sector and common people to help in relief and rescue work.<br/>
