<span style="color: #222222;">The External Affairs Ministry today said the material seized last week in Bokaro, Jharkhand is not uranium and not radioactive. In response to a media query, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said the gratuitous remarks about India by Pakistan's Foreign Ministry on a media report about seizure of suspected material indicate their disposition to malign India without caring to check or verify facts. The spokesperson also reaffirmed that India maintains a stringent law-based regulatory system for internationally controlled items which is reflected in its impeccable non-proliferation credentials recognized by the international community.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to another query, Mr Bagchi said, India and South Africa's proposal to WTO for relaxation in norms of agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, TRIPS has gathered support from a number of countries. He said, the proposal aims to ensure quick and affordable access to vaccines and medicines by developing nations.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On Afghanistan, the spokesperson said, relations with Afghanistan are historical and multi-faceted. India has been engaging with Afghans across ethnicities. He said India, as a friendly neighbour, is concerned about peace and security in Afghanistan and the region. He said, New Delhi supports all peace initiatives and has been engaged with several stakeholders including regional countries.</span><br />''  <br />
