External Affairs Ministry today announced the opening of third batch of Post Office Passport Seva Kendras, POPSKs. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, MEA spokesperson Gopal Baglay said the Ministry and the Department of Posts have decided to open 19 such POPSKs in various states, including Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.<br/><br/>The first two POPSKs are located in Karnataka's Mysuru and Gujarat's Dahod. 64 additional such Kendras were announced in February in ten different states. The objective of such Kendras are to extend passport related services on a larger scale and to ensure wider area coverage. <br/><br/>
