External Affairs Minister S M Krishna arrived in Melbourne today on a three-day visit to attend the seventh round of the framework dialogue with his Australian counterpart Kevin Rudd. He is expected to discuss a host of bilateral, regional and global issues, including closer collaboration on security issues in Asia and in multilateral economic groupings like G-20. Briefing reporters on the visit in New Delhi, the spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry Vishnu Prakash said that the issue of Uranium sale may also come up for discussion in the framework dialogue. Mr. Krishna will call on the Australian Prime Minister and meet the Indian media, besides attending the Indian community reception at Melbourne.
