External Affairs Minister asks Indian embassy in Riyadh to provide free ration to Indian workers facing hardship in Saudi Arabia

External Affairs Minister Mrs. Sushma Swaraj today said that no Indian worker rendered unemployed in Saudi Arabia will go without food. <br/><br/>She has asked the Indian embassy in Riyadh to provide free ration to the unemployed Indian workers who are facing extreme hardship in Saudi Arabia. <br/><br/>In a series of tweets, Mrs. Swaraj said large number of Indians have lost their jobs in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. She said, the employers have not paid wages and closed down their factories. <br/><br/>Mrs. Swaraj said, she is monitoring it on an hourly basis. Mrs Swaraj also said that Minister of State for External Affairs General V K Singh will go to Saudi Arabia to sort out the matters while Mr M J Akbar, Minister of State for External Affairs will take up the issue with the authorities of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
