Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI, has sought comments and views from all stakeholders for extension of DTH licence on expiry of ten years licence period. A consultation paper was released today in this regard. The key issues discussed in the paper pertain to entry fee, bank guarantee and period of licence. Full text of the paper is available on TRAI's website www.trai.gov.in.Comments can be sent by 15th of this month preferably in electronic format through the email, advbcs@trai.gov.in or traicable@yahoo.co.in.Information and Broadcasting Ministry had sent a reference to TRAI seeking its recommendations on certain terms and conditions for extension of DTH licence.
