Registering a growth for nine months in a row, the exports have gone up by 13.2 per cent in July compared to the same period last fiscal. Exports posted a growth rate of 30 per cent in the first four months of current fincial year . However with imports too jumping by 34.3 percent in July against the same month last fiscal, the trade deficit increased by 12.93 billion dollars in July compared to the period a year ago .Imports during the April-July period went up by 33.3 per cent to 112.2 billion US dollars.
