India's exports went up 44.2 per cent in August as compared to the corresponding period last year. Talking to reporters in New Delhi the commerce secretary Rahul Khullar said that exports touched24.2 billion US Dollars. He said that imports rose by 41.8 per cent to reach 38.4 billion US dollars in August.
