In Jammu and Kashmir, Army and Police yesterday recovered another consignment of explosive devices and ammunition including 20 kg RDX in Rajouri district. This was the second seizure of explosive during last two days in the border district. Earlier 44 kg of RDX was recovered from Santo forests in Chingus area. According to official sources, acting on specific information Police, Army and CRPF launched a search operation at village Khadarian in Kalakote Tehsil of Rajouri district yesterday and recovered the consignment. Recoveries included 20 kg RDX, 405 AK rounds, 133 pistol rounds, 47 UBGL shells, 50 IED fuse, one booster, three weapon kits and pencil cells. The consignment is believed to have been dumped by militants to target the forthcoming Budda Amarnath Yatra in Poonch district which is commencing this month.
