At least six workers suffered injuries in an explosion in a chemical factory in the Tarapur chemical zone of the Boisar MIDC in Maharashtra's Palghar district last night.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''The blast occurred in the air handling unit of the Bharat Chemicals at around 11.30pm.<br />''<br />''&nbsp;Station officer, Boisar MIDC fire brigade, Dinesh Ambore said that 36 workers were in the factory when the explosion took place.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''Due to the explosion, the ceiling of the unit collapsed and injured six workers. Five of them sustained head injuries and are being treated in Sanjeevani hospital in Boisar.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''One worker was discharged after being administered first aid.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The cause of the explosion has not been ascertained, said the fire officer.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The company is a manufacturer of paracetamol and other chemicals.
