Experts and students from across the country will discuss issues related to Disaster Risk Management from today at three events organised by the School of Planning and Architecture. This is being done ahead of upcoming Asian Ministerial Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction, AMCDRR 2016. <br/><br/>These events are aimed at reaching out to students, academicians and professionals who may be able to integrate the concepts of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) with their areas of expertise, such as financial planning, technology and architecture. <br/><br/>AMCDRR 2016 is being organised from 2nd to 5th of next month in New Delhi by Union Home Ministry in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR). <br/><br/>The Conference aims at setting the direction of Sendai Framework implementation in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference will help sensitise participants to the recent advancements in areas related to Disaster Risk Reduction.
