Expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh is returning to the party. Party sources told AIR that a decision to this effect has been taken by the party high command and his formal re-entry in the party will be announced in the presence of senior BJP leader L.K. Advani, party President, Nitin Gadkari and other senior leaders later this afternoon. Earlier Mr. Singh had hinted that he is inching towards joining the party.<br/> <br/> Mr. Jaswant Singh was expelled from the party in August last year following a controversy on his book in which he had praised Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Mr. Singh is an MP from Darjeeling and has held important ministerial assignments including External Affairs and Finance portfolios during the NDA regime.<br/>
