The Secretary, Ministry of Culture Mr Jawhar Sircar inaugurated on Monday an exhibition titled ‘Dawn Upon Delhi: Rise of a Capital’ at National Gallery of Modern Art, NGMA in the national capital. The exhibition portrays an illustrated journey through the rich history of Delhi as the Capital of India. The exhibition has been organised by the NGMA in collaboration with the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts. It also highlights the political and cultural history of ancient Delhi .
