Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that the exemption threshold for Goods and Services Tax, GST has been fixed at 20 lakh rupees. Speaking to media after the 2nd day of GST council meeting in New Delhi, Mr Jaitley said, the exemption threshold for GST in North-Eastern states has been fixed at 10 lakh rupees. He said, the council will meet once again on 30th of this month to finalise and approve draft rules of GST.
