Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda has said, the Centre is implementing many schemes in collaboration with the States to ensure quality education for tribals. He said, the Eklavya Model Residential School is a major initiative in this regard. In an exclusive interview with Akashvani News, Mr Munda said, approval has been granted to open Eklavya Vidyalayas at 740 additional locations across the country. Additionally, approval has also been given for the appointment of 38 thousand teachers in these schools. The Minister expressed hope that in the coming month, 10,000 teachers will be recruited in the new Eklavya Schools.
