Madhya Pradesh has emerged as one of the three states in the country to receive excess rainfall this year. Anticipating that the situation might worsen, state government has put on alert all the district collectors asking them to prepare for the worst. The collectors, especially in sensitive areas, have been asked to be on the alert for dealing with any worst-case scenario that could result in due to heavy rainfall in their respective district.
