Army Chief, General Bikram Singh has said that grievances of Ex-Servicemen should be addressed on priority basis as they have spent the best part of their life in the service of the nation. Addressing a rally of Ex-Servicemen in Pathankot Cantonment today, he said, this should be our first duty to respond to the problems of the Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris and also take care of the well being of serving jawans to keep their morale high. He added, this would attract more youngsters to join the Indian Army.

About five thousand Ex-Servicemen from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir participated in the rally.
