Ex-Servicemen today intensified their protest on the One Rank, One Pension, OROP scheme. The veterans tried to march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan but were stopped in the mid-way. <br/><br/>Two army veterans who were sitting on a hunger strike also tried to burn their medals in protest against the scheme announced by the government. <br/><br/>During the day, veterans gathered at Jantar Mantar and decided to meet the President for his intervention into the matter. <br/><br/>The protesters demanded that government should resolve the issue at the earliest and expressed their desire to have a dialogue with the government.
