Ex-ministers get clean chit in Assembly porn-watch case

In Karnataka, a House Committee headed by Shailappa Bidaruru has given clean chit to the three former Ministers, who were allegedly caught watching porn video in the Assembly House in February.

The Committee's report was tabled in the Assembly today.

The report says that there was not sufficient evidence to prove the charges made against two of them. With regard to the third accused, Lakshman Savadi, the Committee suggested that he might be reprimanded for watching objectionable material within the House. The Committee has not suggested any stringent action against the three accused.
