Ex-ISRO chief Nair moves CAT against blacklisting

In Kerala, former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair today filed a petition before the Ernakulam Bench of the Central Adminstrative Tribunal, challenging the union government order barring him from re-employment, committee roles or any other important role under the government.

The petition also sought to quash the findings of the Prathyush Sinha Committee, which probed the controversial Anthrix Corporation- Devas Multimedia deal.

He also demanded reinstatement as the Vikram Sarabhai Distinguished Professor in the Department of Space with continuity of service and remuneration till the expiry of the four-year term.

The former ISRO Chairman said the government orders were against the principles of fair play and natural justice and is ab initio void and incompetent for want of jurisdiction and authority.
