Ex-Cong minister Satish Chaturvedi's son Dushyant joins Shiv Sena

<span style="color: #222222; font-size: 13.3333px;">In Maharashtra, </span><span style="color: #222222;">Dushyant Chaturvedi, son of former Congress minister Satish Chaturvedi, today joined the Shiv Sena. <br />''<br />''Dushyant, who is an educationist by profession and looks after running of a key educational institute in Vidarbha region, formally joined the party at Matoshree in the presence of party Chief Uddhav Thackeray. <br />''<br />''With Maharashtra assembly elections in the offing, this move is considered to be Sena's effort to extend its outreach in the Vidarbha region as Dushyant's father Satish Chaturvedi was a senior leader of Congress party from the region who won the Nagpur seat five times on Congress ticket. <br />''<br />''Satish Chaturvedi was also a minister in the Congress-NCP government before being expelled in 2018 for allegedly encouraging rebel candidates during the 2017 municipal elections. </span><br />
