More than one lakh drone pilots will be required in the coming years to operate different categories on unmanned aerial vehicles.</span> <br />''<br />''Talking exclusively to All India Radio News, the Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, huge employment opportunities lie in the drone sector and lakhs of employment opportunities are going to be generated in the manufacturing and servicing of drones. <br />''<br />''<br />''Highlighting the government's ambition of making India a global drone hub by 2030, the Minister said, the government has adopted a multi-pronged approach to boost the sector. He said, emphasis has been laid on adoption of market friendly policies, incentivising drone manufacturers under Production Linked Incentive scheme and the creation of demand.<br />''<br />''Highlighting the importance of Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) in the aviation sector, the Minister said, global companies like Boeing, Airbus, Pratt & Whitney and SAFRAN are looking to set up their MRO facilities in India.
